He was born Oct. 28, 1937, in Berrien County to the late Elijah S. Taylor and the late Rhoda Jane Ford. He retired from J.H. Harvey Co. as an office clerk and also retired from Del Cook Lumber Co. as a truck driver. He was a member of Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Jeanette Warren, Cleo Benefield, Elnita Dukes, and Farries Griffin; due fratelli, Coy Taylor and Floy Taylor.

Funeral service will be held Friday, Febbraio. 10, 2012, a 11 a.m. at Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. J.W. Dukes III and the Rev. Vernon Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery.
