Born October 6, 1953, in Dawson to the late Hill Peddy and Emily McGee Peddy, Sra.. Massey was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister-in-law, Cal Peddy, Jr., and Carol Peddy. Sra.. Massey graduated from Brenau Preparatory School for Girls in Gainesville and then attended ABAC.
She built two successful businesses, Family Home Care and the Massey House. She liked interior designs and decorating. Sra.. Massey loved antiques, traveling, spending time with friends, and attending ball games her children were involved in. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tifton.
Sra.. Massey is survived by her husband, Tommy Ray Massey of Tifton; dos hijos, Bryan Cavenaugh and his fiancee, Michele Bassett, and Whit Massey and his wife, Heather Massey, todos Tifton; dos hermanos, John Lewis of Chicago, Ill., and Rick Pruitt of Huntsville, Ala.; una hermana, Sandra Velumen of Panama City, Fla.; and three grandchildren, Charlie Cavenaugh, Ben Cavenaugh, and Beth Cavenaugh.
