Dan Lee Taylor, 61, Nashville died Sunday, déc. 4, 2011 in the South Georgia Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 5, 1950 in Valdosta to the late Allison Larry Taylor and the late Mildred Rebecca “Mim” Long. He was a retired educator with the Berrien County Board of Education and a member of Berrien Retired Teachers. For many years he served Berrien High School sports as the basketball scorekeeper and the football statistician. His love for the Lord led him to be very active in his church, the Nashville United Methodist Church, where he served in various capacities which included, but were not limited to, being the Sunday School teacher for the Jackie Bently Class and a member of the chancel choir. He also sang with the groups One Accord and The Rainbow Boys. He was an avid fan of the Andy Griffith Show and a Red Cross blood donor with 14 gallons given.
