Edith J. Reddick, 92, a residence of Brunswick, GA died Sunday June 26, 2011 at the Senior Care Center. Les services funéraires auront lieu 11 au. Wednesday June 30, dans la chapelle de Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, with Reverend Sammy Chancey officiating. Interment will follow the service in East Palmetto Cemetery. Ernest Carter, Wayne Melton, Lloyd Douglas, Charlie O’Quinn, Clarke Wiggins, Jr. and Ken Gray are serving pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Sunshine Sunday School Class of Pinehaven Baptist Church, Dr. Grubb and staff, and the staff of the Hospice of the Golden Isles.
Mme. Reddick was a lifelong native of Glynn County, born March 7, 1919 to the late Samuel Johnson and Mable Holtzendorf Johnson. She was a member of Pinehaven Baptist Church. Mme. Reddick was a home maker and enjoyed working with flower arrangements. She leaves behind many fond memories and will be missed by all.
In addition to Mrs. Reddick parents she is preceded in death by her husband James Reddick, son Albert A. Cothran , and daughter Mabel Louise Cothran.
Survivors include her son, George Lewis Cothran and wife Barbara, two daughters Patricia Wisham and husband Samuel all of Brunswick, Géorgie. and Leslie Sue Reddick of MO.. neuf petits-enfants, twenty-two great-grandchildren, fourteen great- grand- petits enfants, ainsi que plusieurs nièces et neveux.
