Essie Mae Johnson Deal Ward, 79, of Richmond Hill, died Saturday, November. 12, 2011 at the Bryan County Health Center.
She was born in Pierce County Dec. 13, 1931 and had formerly worked as a secretary for Sloan Electric Company and also worked as a Mary Kay Cosmetics Representative. She was a member of the Coastal Cathedral Church of God.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jean D. and Ivan DeLong, Richmond Hill and Debbie and Sonny Cooler, Faulkville; a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Bernard Foote, Blue Ridge; eight grandchildren, und 13 Ur-Großenkel, and a number of nieces and nephews.
