Los servicios funerales se llevarán a cabo en 11 a.m., Sábado, Dic. 3, at the New Life Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Samuel Maves officiating. Burial will follow at Tift Memorial Gardens. Larry Kelley, Silas Creel, Kelly Lee, Sean Denham, Zachary Morey, and Joshua Morey will serve as pallbearers.
He was born Jan. 29, 1949, en Moultrie, to Nathan Morey and Annie Laura Bass Morey, ambos de los que le precedieron en la muerte. A resident of Tifton since 1989, he was a retired insurance agent, holding the designation of LUTCF, and he was the owner of Morey Insurance Agency in Tifton. He graduated from Dougherty High School in Albany, en 1966, and earned a bachelor’s of business administration degree from Georgia Southwestern University in 1973. He enjoyed fishing, golf, University of Georgia football, and going to the mountains with his family, his family remembered of him. He also enjoyed spending time with his sons and grandchildren, they also said. He was very active in his church, New Life Presbyterian Church of Tifton, where he had been a member since 1989. He served as one of the first elders and had become an Elder Emeritus of the church.
Le sobreviven su esposa, Judy Annette Lawrence Morey of Tifton; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Zachary David and Jessica Morey of Tifton and Joshua Seth and Allison Morey of Albany; and two grandchildren, Zoe Morey and Ava Morey, ambos de Tifton.
