Herman Albertie (aka Poppa Herman), 89, of Sandhill, Florida, passed away on August 6, 2013, at Life Care Center of Hilliard, Florida.
Brother Herman Albertie was a lifelong resident of Sandhill, Florida and a faithful member of St. James Baptist Church, where the Rev. Johnnie Green is the Pastor. He retired from ITT Rayonier after 40-plus years of service. He was born November 19, 1923, to Charles and Rena Albertie, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was his wife of 69 Jahre, Rose White Albertie, and three sons: Willie, Lonnie, and Joseph Albertie.
He is survived by 10 Kinder: Töchter, Jeanette, Gesetze, Dorothy, Magdaline and Ann. Sons, Herman, Jr., Earl, Terry, Clinton and Gregory. He also leaves behind to carry on his legacy his grandchildren, Ur-Großenkel, a host of nieces, Neffen, Cousins, and sorrowing friends.
