James N. Muralla exterior, an influential and well respected business man, died in Darien, Georgia, Jueves, Septiembre 4, 2008. Sr.. Bailey was president of Bailey Monument and Vault Co. and Green lawn Cemetery based in Waycross, Georgia. He started in the business at the age of nine, working with his parents, Wade and Emma Bailey. After attending Georgia Tech, he returned home to manage the business for the next sixty years. His expertise and integrity earned him the respect of his peers in the industry.
A man of action, he served his community for many years as Chairman of the Development Authority and President of the Waycross-Ware County Chamber of Commerce. He also held leadership positions in the Lions Club and the Rotary Club, and was a Trustee of Southwood School. He served on the Board of Directors and as President of the Georgia Cemetery Association and was a member of the Monument Builders of North America.
Le sobreviven su esposa, Nancy Rozier-Bailey, his sister Jean Brazelle, sus hijas e hijos-en-ley; Lizabeth and Dean Wilson, Susan and Lott Hereford, Annette and Jim Lane, Mary and Keith Hawthorne, and Martha Carol Bailey, M. D. as well as his grandchildren, Patrick and Matthew Wilson, Adam and Laura Brooker, eric, Hannah, and Ethan Lane, Taylor, Thomas, and Will Hawthorne. His quiet strength and loving guidance will be missed.
