Johnny “Eric” Purvis, 52, de Brunswick, GA passed away Friday, Janvier 13, 2012. The family will receive friends Monday, Janvier 16, 2012 from 6-8PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Janvier 17, 2012 at 11AM at First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. John Rentz officiating. Burial will follow at Palmetto Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sandy Cooper, Alan Loper, Jeff Boyd, Buddy Webb, Armando Lopez and Thomas Frazier. Honorary pallbearers will be Garfield Green, Alan Morgan, employees of Rogers Bridge Company and Crowley Chiropractor.
Eric was born on July 21, 1959 in Brunswick to the late J.R. Purvis and Louise Hamilton Purvis. He graduated from Glynn Academy and started his career as a crane operator. He loved his job and his fellow employees.
