M.. Joseph E. Thompson, Sr., 57, of Sylvester died Tuesday April 26, 2011 at Sylvester Health Care.
The graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday April 28, 2011 at The Sumner Cemetery with Rev. Grady Morey officiating.
M.. Thompson was born in Sylvester on August 24, 1953 to Oris Ogden, Sr. and Florine Willis Thompson. He lived in Worth County all of his life and was formerly employed with Freedom Truck Lines. M.. Thompson was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church, he enjoyed fishing and gospel music.
Survivors include sons, Joe Thompson, Jr. (Melody) de Tifton, Joshua Wayne Thompson (Jodi Camp) of Worth County, mère, Florine Willis Thompson of Sylvester, frères, Oris O. Thompson, Jr., of Montgomery, AL., Billy Thompson of Ashburn, sœurs, Joan McCoy of Montgomery, AL., Kathy Thompson of Sylvester, petits enfants, Santana Thompson, Cody Thompson, Kayla Fraser, Warick Thompson and Bristal Thompson, special friend, Lydia Rensch.
M.. Thompson was preceded in death by his father, Oris Ogden Thompson, Sr.
