Levi Glover -FORT VALLEY – M.. Levi Glover was born on July 29, 1948 in Ludowici, Long County, GA to the late Wallace James Glover, Sr. and Naomi Stevens Glover. He departed this Earth to be with the Lord on Sunday, Avril 17, 2011, after lingering illness. After graduating from Walker High School in Long County, Levi attended Fort Valley State College. After graduating from college in 1968, he went to work for the United States Department of Agriculture, working as a Soil Conservationist, District Conservationist, EEO Counselor, and finally as a 1890 Agricultural Liaison Officer at Fort Valley State University. He retired in 2005, after 39 years of service. Levi was also a member of Shiloh Baptist Church where he was a Deacon, a member of the male chorus and past president of the usher board. Levi was preceded in death by two brothers, Wallace James Glover, Jr., and Willie Thomas Glover, Sr., and one sister Bonnie Glover. -Levi leave to cherish his memory: his daughters, Dawn Glover Sykes (Arthur) of Jacksonville, FL; Candace Glover-Bullock (Marcus) of Jacksonville, FL, and Latasha Montford of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; quatre petits-enfants, Devon Sykes, Tylas Levi Sykes, Cameron Bullock, and Aniya Bullock; une soeur, Lauren Glover of Fort Valley; and two brothers, Isaac and Charles Glover of Ludowici, Géorgie; as well as extended family and friends. -Funeral services will be held 11A.M.
