Linda Jane Thomas Evans, 65, est décédé lundi, Mars 26, 2012, at her residence following a sudden illness.
Born in Screven March 3, 1947, she had lived in Ohio for several years before moving to Brantley County 30 il ya des années. She retired from King & Prince Seafood so she could stay home and be her mother’s caretaker. She was also a homemaker and was known as her “grandchildren’s taxi service”. She dearly loved her grandchildren (they called her Nanah) and was always going to their ball games, practices and any other event they were participating in. She never missed a Braves baseball game and was a member of Waynesville Baptist Church where she was in the Senior Ladies Sunday School class. She had also helped with the nursery at her church along with being active in the Food Ministry. A loving mother and grandmother, her children and grandchildren will miss her dearly.
She was a daughter of the late William Samuel and Mary Vivian Teston Thomas. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee Evans; une fille, Vivian Jane Evans Weekley; deux soeurs, Julia Rogers and Diane Norfleet; and her brother, Jerry William Thomas.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Pat and Joy Evans, Waynesville and Kevin Evans, Atlanta; three daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Steve Miller, Jesup, Debbie and Billy Snyder, Hamilton, OH and Maureen and Chris Adamson, Vancouver, WA; a sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette and Colvin Robertson, Wayne County; 12 petits enfants, Jordan Evans, Bryce Evans, Brooke Evans, Kelly Evans, Mariah Evans, Andrea Pope, Michael Roach, Josh Snyder, Jason Snyder, Tyler Adamson, Josh Moore and Conner Adamson; six great-grandchildren and several nieces, neveux et autres parents.
