Marge Ruth “Ruthie” Peters Dean, 77, of Tifton died Monday, John. 24, 2012 an ihrem Wohnsitz.
Die Beerdigung findet statt 2 p.m. Friday in The First Church of the Nazarene with Mr. Bruce Shiver and the Rev. Raymond E. Dean Jr. officiating. Anschließend erfolgt die Beerdigung in den Tift Memorial Gardens.
Die Familie wird von Freunden erhalten 6 zu 8 tonight at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Dean III, Clay Dean, Alven Dixon, Boyd Shaw, Ivey Peters and Bruce Shiver. Members of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Born on Sept. 2, 1934 to the late I.D. and Molley Miley Peters, Frau. Dean was a kind woman who loved being with her friends and encouraging others. She always remembered family members’ birthdays and anniversaries, regularly visited residents at the nursing home, and enjoyed going to the beauty shop. As an active member of The First Church of the Nazarene in Tifton, Frau. Dean served as the prayer request leader and taught Sunday School. Zusätzlich zu ihren Eltern, Vor ihr starb ihr Mann, Die Rev. Raymond Eugene Dean Sr. who died in 1990, and a sister, Evelyn P. Dixon.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Mary D. and Boyd Shaw of Rocky Mount, N.C., two sons and daughters-in-law, die Rev. Ray and Vicky Dean Jr. of Tifton and Richard L. and Ruth Dean of Charleston, S.C.; einen Bruder, J.D. Peters of Thomasville; ihre Enkelkinder, Raymond E. (III) and Lauren Dean, Ashley D. and Keith Dowdy, Clay and Jonell Dean, Robin D. and Brian Dorsey, Amanda S. and Jeff White, Austin Dean and Garret Dean; her great-grandchildren, Alden Dowdy, Paige Dean, Gage Dean, McKenzie Dean, Andrew McClellan, Caleb McClellan, Ethan McClellan, Jeffrey White, Jackson White and Caroline White; und zahlreiche Nichten und Neffen.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Tift Area, especially Jennifer Pippin, RN and Angela Searcy, CNA, for their exceptional care. Also, extra thanks to a special niece and nephew, Kristie and Bruce Shiver, for their special love and care for “Ruthie.”
