Margery Timmons was born on June 3, 1923, a Thomasville. Miami, Fla., became her come at age one, where she lived until 1959. That same year she married her husband, Joel W. Timmons, Sr. Her husband was in the Navy and they lived in several places before coming to Jacksonville, Fla., in 1964. Timmons has been a member of Cedar Hills Baptist Church since moving to Jacksonville. She passed away on December 24, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 30 anni, he late Joel W.
