Odene Walker Hand, 82, of Tifton died Friday, Diciembre 23, 2011, at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge. Hand was born on June 9, 1929 in Alabama and was the daughter of Artful Walker and Annie Mae Twilley Walker, ambos ya fallecidos. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James C. Hand; tres hermanos; una hermana; and one great-grandchild.
She was a retired teacher’s aide at Northside Elementary and a homemaker. She was a member of Brookfield Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school.
Sra.. Hand is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, David and Debi Hand of Charleston, Carolina del Sur; two daughters and one son-in-law, Donna H. and J. R. Lambert of Bainbridge and Ginger Hand of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; un hermano, Dwight Walker of White Springs, Florida; una hermana, Alma Walker Willis
de Charleston, Carolina del Sur; siete nietos, Aaron Goodman, Brook Croley, Scott Tyson, Shiloh Toler, Gabe Mathis, Jacob Hand and C. J. Hand; y 14 bisnietos.
