Paul G. Cox, 61, a resident of Brunswick, died Monday afternoon at his residence after a short illness.
Paul was a native and lifelong resident of Brunswick. He was a graduate of Glynn Academy Class of 1968. He was employed with Brunswick Cellulose, Inc.(Ga. Pacific). He was a former member of the Georgia Air
National Guard.

He was a member and Administration Deacon for the New Life Sanctuary in Brunswick.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, George Samuel Cox and Doris Davis Cox.
Survivors are his wife, Lavenia Williams Cox of Brunswick, una figlia, Julia Cox of Savannah, a son, Paul Daniel Cox of Brunswick, three brothers, Sammy Cox (Juanita) , Harry Cox (Faye) and Gary Cox (Terry) tutti Brunswick, and several nieces and nephews and Cousins. Funeral Services was held at 11 am Friday 6/17/11 in the New Life Sanctuary with Rev. Bill Jones and Rev. Dwight Spivey officiating.

Active pallbearers were: Michael Cox, Tyler Bonham, Wayne Holmes, Earl Odom, Albert Chasteen,
Brian McKnight, Larry Myers and David Cooper, II. Honorary pallbearers were: member of the Bleach Plant of Brunswick Cellulose, Inc. in Brunswick, Bruce and Phyllis Garrett,, Jeff and Jackie May, Janice Odom, Jill Holmes, Frank and Christy Whisenant and James Robinson.
