nacio en noviembre 29, 1937 in Lanier County to the late Hubert Rash and the late Mitty Mae Singletary. He was a retired first sergeant with the U.S. Army with 20 years’ service. He participated in the Cuban Missile Crisis and was awarded the Bronze Star and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry for his service in Vietnam. He was a mason in Duncan Lodge 234, member of the Nashville Post V.F.W., and a member of the Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
