Sherry Renee Morris-Jordan was born on October 8, 1975 en Jacksonville, Florida. to Nathaniel Morris and Cherry Lee James- Morris. She was educated in the public school system of Charlton County and graduated in the Class of 1996. She was united in Holy Matrimony on June 3, 1997 to Bernard Jordan, Sr. from this union two children were born. Sherry was a member of Mt. New Home Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir and did whatever she could to assist throughout the church. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years until her health began to fail.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Johnny and Leila James, Sr.; her paternal grandparents, Willie Lee Morris, Sr. and Annie Bell Mills and a brother, James Felton Mills.
She leaves to cherish her memories, a devoted and loving husband, Bernard Jordan, Sr. of Folkston; two children, Jakara and Bernard Jr., both of Folkston; a devoted mother, Cherry Lee Morris of Folkston; her father, Nathaniel Morris of Atlanta; dos hermanas, Patricia Morris of Folkston and Angel (Rocco) Jackson of Reno, Nevada; a brother, Johnny (Nikki) Williams of Waycross; dos tíos, Willie Lee (Julia) Morris of Tampa and Johnny (Wanda) James, Jr. of Detroit, Michigan; one aunt, Letha Mae Smith of Folkston; her mother and father in-law, Lillie Dell and Johnny C. Jordan of Folkston; five brothers in-law, Deric (Sheena) Jordan, Eric Jordan and Claude (Lisa) Jordan all of Folkston, Alvin (Renae) Jordan of Suffolk, Va., Joseph (Victoria) Jordan of Folkston; two sisters in-laws, Samantha (Michael), Hall of Folkston and Loretta (Willy) Maddox of Kingsland.; a close childhood friend who was like a sister, Marilyn (Steve) Smiley of Folkston; others that were very close to her, Queen Caldwell of Brunswick and Natalie Hannans of Folkston and a host of nieces, sobrinos, cousins and friends that will surely miss her.
