Mme. Suzette Yvonne Bruner-Rice was born on February 14, 1968 in Lake Park, Géorgie., to Willie Charles Green, Sr. and Bessie Lee Marshall-Green. She was preceded in her untimely death by her grandparents, Thomas Edward and Ida Mae Mitchell and Frank and Alberta Marshall; special aunts, Dorothy Marshall and Martha Curry; four dear cousins, Roy Felton, Frank Curry and Martha Rose Curry and Patricia Ann Morris.
Suzette received her education in the Lowndes County School system up until her senior year when she moved to Little Rock, Ark., with her Aunt Earlie Mae. She graduated from Little Rock High School where she continued her outstanding love of sports and was a member of the Little Rock High School varsity basketball team. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Elizabeth A.M.E. Church in Jennings, Floride, Sue lived in several states in her lifetime but she always sought to find a place to worship. Prior to her death, she found her way back to her home church, Elizabeth, where she was actively involved in children’s ministry and church growth.
Sue was a well-known businesswoman in the Valdosta community where she finally realized her vision of building a successful staffing and employment organization. She was the owner and CEO of Pro Servcice Staffing which she launched February 2011 after working 22 years in various managerial capacities with employment placement. She diligently worked to instill strong work ethics and life skills with those whom she had an opportunity to influence. She adopted the axiom that “if you give someone a fish, they will eat for a day but if you teach someone to fish, they will feed themselves for a life time.” Her memory will be carried forth as Pro Service Staffing continues with her vision for empowering people to excel.
Sue answered the Master’s call on Friday, Décembre 9, 2011 after a short unexpected illness.
