Tony Lester Chappell, 45, of Alma passed away Tuesday, Marzo 15, 2011, at Twin Oaks Nursing Home after an extended illness.
He was a native of Pierce County but had lived in Bacon County most of his life. He was a son of the late Lester Chappell and Leona Howell Chappell.
Survivors include three brothers, Pondie Chappell (Ann), Ashburn, Shafter Chappell (Jo) of Tennessee and Fred Chappell (Maria), Alma and one sister, Paula Weaks (Giovanni), Tennessee.
Visitation will take place from 6-8 p.m. Venerdì, Marzo 18, alle pompe funebri.
Graveside funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, Marzo 19, from the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Pierce County with the Rev. T. F. Yawn and the Rev. Edmund Thrift officiating.
Friends will serve as active pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Twin Oaks Nursing Home and the staff of Bacon County Hospital.
