M.. Young was born August 8, 1933 in Irwinville, GA to the late J.P. and Mattie Lou Phillips Young. Living in Ben Hill and Irwin Counties most of his life, he was a retired farmer and mechanic. M.. Young was a member of the Fitzgerald Baptist Purity Church.
He is survived by his children: C.L. “Pedro” and Kathy Young of Fitzgerald, Diane Sims and Kenny Sheppard of Fitzgerald and Amber Young of Perry, FL; petits enfants: Philip and Kesha Young, Dee Dee & Kaylea, Stone, Kristy and James Reynolds, Kasey and Daniel Mays and Carie and Ryan Fussell; 10 Great grandchildren; frères: Melvin and Pat Young of Fitzgerald and Marvin and Lisa Young of Tifton; sœur: Joann and Bobby Grantham of Tifton; step-daughter: Kathy Shipskie. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by sons, Brandon and Steven Young, 4 sœurs, et 3 frères.
