She was born July 2, 1978, in Jacksonville, Fla. She was a graduate of Camden County High School.
Melissa had resided in Camden County until the year 2000, when she married Sam House. Her daughter, Vega Sophia House, was born in 2001.
The Lord has called our sweet precious wife, mother and daughter home.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Sam House, and loving daughter, Vega House of Valdosta; parents, Frank and Marilyn Sheffield; frère, Franklin Sheffield Jr. (Mélisse); grandparents, Arnold and Gloria Sheffield; father-in-law, Bob House; mother-in-law, Angie House; and many cousins, brothers-in-law, tantes, oncles, nieces and nephews.
You were truly the sweetest wife, mother and daughter in the world, and we know you are with your Grandma and Grandpa Mullis fishing in heaven.
