Scott Lanier Blalock, 24, of Chula died Tuesday, déc. 20, 2011, à sa résidence. Les services funéraires auront lieu à 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Le Rev. Gerald Purvis, Rev. Gary Cadwell and the Rev. Steve Tucker will officiate with burial to follow at Oakridge Cemetery.
Thom Roberson, Justin Roberson, Adam Brannen, Cole Benson, Hunter Johnson, Josh Markham and Kenny Eaton will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Tift County High School Class of 2005 and the employees of Health Plus in Ashburn.
Scott was born on March 20, 1987 in Tifton and was the son of Randy Blalock and Teresa Hill Blalock of Chula. He was a student at ABAC and a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and fish and loved his dog, Diablo.
En plus de ses parents, Scott is survived by one brother, Casey Blalock of Denver, Colo.; his grandparents, Mme. Billie Blalock of Tifton and Mr and Mrs. Albert Hill of Brookfield; his great-grandmother, Bertha Smith of Tifton; and his aunts and uncles, Sherry and C.W. Bishop, Tammy and Freddie Little and Albert Jr. and Missy Hill.
