Annie Ruth Fields, 75, of Quitman passed away Monday October 16, 2011 at her residence after a lengthy illness.

Born in Pavo, Ga. she was the daughter of Robert T. and Annie Fitzgerald McGlamory. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by her husband, Roy L. Fields, Jr. of Quitman, five daughters; Cynthia (Jody) Hernandez of Houston, Tx., Rhonda (Alan) Gravley of Woodlawn, Va., Karin Lockwood of Lexington, Ky., Sharon (Brian) Smith of Sorrento, Fl., Lori (Stephen) Diamond of Baltimore, Md., one son; Billy (Cindy) Fields of Cana, Va., ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one sister; Leona McMillan of Savannah, Ga., and one brother; Jimmy O. McGlamory of Valdosta.
