Annie Willene Hawkins, age 77, of Nicholls, GA passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013 following an extended illness. Ms. Hawkins was born on November 5, 1935 in Pearson, GA to the late Willie Franklin and Lera Bell Taft Anderson, SR.

Survivors include: two sons, Norman (Linda) Hawkins and Bobby Hawkins both of Nicholls, GA; one brother: Willie Franklin Anderson, Jr of Nicholls, GA; three Sisters: Leola Deen, Charlene Prescott, and Lera Bell Merritt all of Douglas, GA; four grandchildren: Joshua Hawkins, Autumn Whittle, Lauren Hawkins, and Shawn Hawkins; seven great-grandchildren: Madison Stanley, Kobe Whittle, Rheanna Spurling, Katelyn Spurling,. Bethany Whittle, Alexandria Hawkins and Joshua L. Hawkins Jr.

The family of Annie Willene Hawkins received friends on Monday, April 15, 2013 from 6 to 9 PM at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. John Carver officiating and a eulogy given by Autumn Whittle. Interment will follow in the Douglas City Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
