Baudelia “Lilly” Torres Del Toro, 86, of Naples, formerly of Tifton, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at Vitas Hospice in Naples, Fla.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors with Deacon J. Brian Bergeron officiating. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors.
Born Dec. 20, 1925, in Hondo, Texas, to the late Frutoso Torres and Maria Rita Rosas Torres, Mrs. Del Toro was also preceded in death by her husband, Jose Angel Del Toro Sr.
Mrs. Del Toro was a homemaker who loved to cook and she loved her grandchildren. She was of the Catholic faith.
Mrs. Del Toro is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Thomas and Cynthia L. Del Toro of Naples, Fla., and Joe Angel Del Toro, Jr., of Tifton; one daughter and one son-in-law, Esther and Pedro Martinez of Naples, Fla.; one sister, Natividad Riojas, of Toppenish, Wash.; two brothers, Samuel Torres and Daniel Torres, both of Columbia City, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
