Mr. Griffin passed away April 22, 2012 at his residence. Born December 10, 1935 in Colquitt Co., he was the son of the late Leonard Lewis Griffin and Christine Freeman Griffin. He was married to Betty Coleman Griffin for 53 years, who survives. Mr. Griffin graduated from Colquitt County High School and was a veteran of the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany. Other survivors include his children, Angela Terry and husband John of Warner Robins, Mark Griffin and wife Denise of Woodstock, Clay Griffin and wife Karen of Tifton; sisters, Janice Ciemny and husband Wayne of Copperas Cove, TX, Sandra Kirby of Plant City, Fl; and brother, Larry Griffin and wife Susan of Leesburg; grandchildren, Lauren Brooks and husband Chris, Ashley Lee and husband Chuck, Mary Griffin, Kathryn Griffin, Robert Griffin, Savanah Griffin, Coleman Griffin, Mikaela Griffin; great grandson, Cason Brooks and numerous nieces and nephews.
