Debra Ann Parr Shewmaker, age 58 of Kingsland passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick.
Mrs. Shewmaker was born February 15, 1954 in Brunswick. She is the daughter of Raymond Lamar and Daisy Elizabeth Liles Parr. She was a graduate of Camden County High School and attended Abraham Baldwin College. Mrs. Shewmaker was a devoted wife and loving mother. She was a soft hearted lady with a passion for animals, working as a pet care technician at 4 Paws Veterinary Clinic in Yulee. Her gentle soul and valiant spirit will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Shewmaker is survived by her beloved husband, James Frank Shewmaker of Kingsland; her sister, Denise (Paul) Parr-Scanlin of Amarillo, Tx.; her brothers, Randy (Anne) Parr of Brunswick, Tony (Linda) Parr of Monroe, and Jack (Cindy) Parr of St. Marys; plus several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours for Mrs. Shewmaker will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, February 24 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held graveside at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 25 at Homeward Cemetery in Waverly.
