Helen Rose Ford Frazier, 88, of Ty Ty died Saturday, December 10, 2011, at the Senior Care Center in Brunswick, following an extended illness. The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at Salem Baptist Church. Rev. Andy Ring will officiate with burial to follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Russell Kueker, Bill Ford, Gary Revis, Ken Ford, Wally Ford and Danny Ford will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Salem Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 12, 2011, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Ford; and five brothers, G. H. Ford, Emmette Ford, Frank Ford, Childs Ford and Joe Ford.

She was church clerk for Salem Baptist Church for over 30 years and taught the Beginners Sunday school class for 45 years. She was also president of the PTA many times. During the war, she worked at Robins Air Force Base and she was a graduate of Tifton High School. Helen loved to cook.

Mrs. Frazier is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Jacob Russell Frazier of Ty Ty; a daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and Ron Maulden of Brunswick; a grandson, Russell Maulden of Brunswick; and two sisters and one brother-in-law, Grace Ford Moore of Warner Robins and Sheila and Bill Keuker of Albany.
