James Haddon “Jimmy” Sullivan – JESUP – James Haddon “Jimmy” Sullivan, 98, died Tuesday, April 12, 2011. He was a deacon of Jesup First Baptist Church, a WWII Navy lieutenant, founder and co-owner of S & R Men’s Shop. He was predeceased by his first wife, Louise Peters Sullivan, who died after the birth of their son James. His wife of 66 years, Vonice Ritch Sullivan, died in 2007.

Survivors: daughter: Jan (Gary) Peel of Jesup, GA.; a son: James H., (Rubye) Sullivan, Jr. of Gainesville, FL.; a sister-in-law: Mary Anne Ritch of Jesup, GA.; 4 grandchildren: James Sullivan, III of Gainesville, Fla., Pam (Mallard) Holliday of Dunwoody, GA., Laura (Jay) Roberts of St. Simons Island, GA., Rick (Carrie) Peel of Jesup, GA.; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
