Funeral services for Paula Flynt Jasso, of Cordele, Ga., were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services. The family received friends prior to the service Saturday beginning at 2 p.m. Paula, 51, passed away Wednesday evening at Phoebe-Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.

She was born in Lowndes County, Ga., and was the daughter of Richard Flynt and the late Mary Helen Cowart Flynt. Paula was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She enjoyed flowers, gardenias being her favorite and the outdoors. She was an animal lover, a nurse and a member of Hahira Baptist Church.

Paula is survived by her husband of 13 years, Francisco A. “Frank” Jasso of Cordele; her children, Heather Williams and Jennifer McCranie, both of Cordele, Francisco Jasso, Jr. and Linda Christine Lopez, both of San Antonio, Texas; her father and his wife, Richard and Elese Flynt of Hahira; two sisters and their husbands, Janet and Roger Powers of Gainesville and Sandra and Lonnie McKinney of Cordele; a brother and his wife, Rick and Sherry Flynt of Johns Creek; and five grandchildren, T.J. Gilliam, Kayla Mallard, Haley Williams, Veronica J. Lopez and Eleanor Lopez.
