William “Bill” Evans, age 67, of Douglas, GA passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2013, at his residence following a brief illness. Mr. Evans was born on January 29, 1946, in Wrens, GA to the late William Rudolph Evans, Sr. and Mary Agnes McTier Evans.
Survivors include: his two daughters, Mae Mae (Corey) Carver of Douglas, GA, Jennifer (Werner) Versch of Richmond, VA, two sisters, Carolyn Gay of Macon, GA and Debra Magee of Thompson, GA, brother, Rudy Evans of Wadley, GA, four grandchildren, Jude Carver, Joella Carver, David Versch, and Harrison Versch, several nieces and nephews.
